Laughter Yoga Returns to Las Cruces Library!
Staff Report / LasCruceslocal.org
Laughter Yoga sessions are returning this fall at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The classes will take place every Wednesday starting at 10:15 AM.
Laughter Yoga is a form of exercise that blends movement with breathing techniques to encourage intentional laughter. This practice is designed to foster joy and alleviate daily stress. Engaging in laughter can trigger the release of endorphins and hormones such as dopamine and serotonin, which may contribute to a stronger immune system and reduced stress and depression levels.
