Las Cruces Fire Department Commended for Valor

The Las Cruces Fire Department has been recognized for its exceptional support during recent wildfires and flooding in Lincoln County, New Mexico. The department assisted in keeping residents safe and aided first responders on the frontlines throughout these emergencies.

Arron Griewahn, the Lincoln County Emergency Services Director, expressed gratitude on behalf of the community, stating, "On behalf of the citizens of Lincoln County, the Board of County Commissioners, Lincoln County Staff, and First Responders, we would like to thank all the emergency agencies and individuals that assisted us during the recent wildfires and flooding that have devastated our communities."

Griewahn noted that the contributions from the Las Cruces Fire Department and other agencies were vital in ensuring safety and supporting first responders during the crisis. He emphasized that the community's support during these disasters was crucial in combating the fires and responding to flooding incidents.
