Heat Fiesta events are scheduled in several New Mexico locations this summer with demonstrations on heat safety, advocacy, food, and giveaways for families. In Albuquerque, events will take place on June 16 from 2–5 p.m. at Wells Park and on June 21 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at Battan Park. In Las Cruces, an event is set for June 21 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Mesilla Community Center.

In Gallup, the event is scheduled for July 17 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at UNM Gallup, and in Española, it will be held on July 7 from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Española Farmers Market.
